I can never get that bloody zither out of my head when I see any reference to this film
I’ve posted a photo here in the past of the wife (sporting a stolen tweed jacket ) in the Riesenrad Ferris wheel from the same.
I remember the photos of her stealing your clothes!
Never mind, not that you need much of an excuse to buy some more
Monterey 1969
I’m not sure about the “trumpet on a chair” motif but I was immediately reminded of Reading (bottom left)
I only went to the Saturday
How ?
Also you were wrong, Friday was the day to go
Same logo, bottom left.
And you are incorrect. Thin Lizzy closing it out in 1983 would have been something to dine out on, although I could have skipped the rest, with the exception of Twelfth Night.
I literally wore this out
on the Dual CS 505
Fcuk, recorded on my birthday. Geoff Mann died of bowel cancer many years ago.
Ah, didn’t notice that.
Not a Thin Lizzy fan (only know Jailbreak ?), but you were there, so I’ll give you that.
The line up here (if British Jazz is your thing combined with the psych art) makes this one top of my list of posters wanted
That’s a belter - unobtanium presumably.
The Psych Art is great, but early British Jazz is obviously not my thing, as i don’t recognise a single band.
It’s a tricky one that achingly eludes me - it’s a silk screen, the background is actually silver - pics on the net don’t do it justice. Designed by Mike McInnerney (Who did a bunch of great work and the interational times mag) The gig feat: Rendell / Carr was to promote a benefit concert for the Rent Surcharge: Paddy O’Connor legal costs fund: organised by the North St Pancras Labour Party, October 15th, 1967.
I know it’s not the actual poster.
Really want the John Lennon, might get one:
Like that a lot.
