Jerry Garcia drawing of “August West”, character from the Grateful Dead song Warf Rat. Garcia’s only known art that directly references the band’s music

I always wondered if there was a link between Wall’s sausages and the ‘non-milk fat’ in Wall’s ice cream

Not posters but close enough. Since I’ve just moved all of my shit is everywhere. I set these aside the other day, a few things gifted to me from my Great Uncle John.

Left is 1st Edition of The Story of Celtic.

Top right is a team photo from 35/36 double.

Bottom right is a replica of the European Cup medal and a list of the record breaking quintuple season titles on the card and rear of the medal.

There’s a 35/36 club tie lying in another box somewhere and a few wee green books from the 30s as well.

Tagging @hermit as well as I’m not sure if he visits this thread.

Really everything Tarantino does is a homage to the movies and genres he loves, sometimes down to shot for shot recreations of scenes. Not a criticism mind, I love a bit of Quentin :slightly_smiling_face:
Aside: I love Death Proof, of course it’s silly, it’s meant to be. But actually it’s Tarantino saluting real special effects and the old time stunt people and stunt drivers. The cinematography during the death race scenes is top car film making :+1:

Found this in the toilet today - placed at an oddly low level opposite the khazi -Apparently Strionzi finds it soothing to contemplate his great uncle whilst taking a dump

Poster nicked from a wall in the Université Libre de Bruxelles campus in 1992/3.

After asking a couple of local framers, I ended up framing it myself. Picture glass was cut to size. It’s wonky - isoceles it is not.

There were identical posters, but printed in green and in blue. Yellow was the one to go for.
