Picking a random thread to crap on. Mates reunion in Munich. One mate (mit ein touch of cancer) has had the idea of driving there in his mad Lotus roller skate and stopping off at the Nürburgring.
Seriously, he’s “ooh I can’t”, I’ve told him JFDI, but I think a few here have first hand experience. Good idea or bad idea?

Drove to Spa in the 7 (more of a Roller Skate than other Loti, no hood even) in April!
Mate who was also in a 7 was skint due to engine upgrades and insisted we tent!
It rained a bit 
Mate totaled his 7 on the 2nd lap, I kid you not! He spent the rest of the time organising recovery
Was a total hoot though.
Bit of a big circuit even for a big power 7, but great fun anyway.

Totally flat out on Kemmel Straight and some other places.
No so through EAU Rouge!
La Source and down was very evocative.
I’ve only done Nurburgring on Sims.
