RIP Hifi Wigwam

Just had a look - still getting ‘oops we ran into some problems’ on every link.

Edit: Tried logging in. It is indeed back.

That happened the day after James sold it.

It’s dead, bury it.

No, wait, it’s still breathing.

Just.

Aaaaaaaand…

It’s down again.

While it was up, I did manage to find the post I was looking for.

Turned out to be far less useful than I’d hoped.

Oh well.

Too busy, so wasn’t in any forum at all for a while, missed the last developments.
Happy to have been part of all with Scalford as highlight.
Happy memories.

Have you ever made it over to Lopwell, Rudy? I finally made it there this year, and I’d say it’s much closer in spirit to Scalford than any of the dead-horse-whippings conducted by the assorted zombie-forums trying to reanimate the Wam’s cadaver.

No, but I’m tempted every time when both Lopwell and Settle threads start.
I get that itchy thing, but never got to go, as logistics always seems a bit difficult to me.

Know how it feels - but trust me, it’ll be worth it when you do :+1:

Will there be a Settle thing this year? Or have I missed that?

Yes there is. Thoroughly recommended too!

Ah, that’s sad.

I don’t visit that shithole.

Same here, Squawk and Britannia Waives the Rules.

Oops, sorry, hadn’t thought about that bit.

Hi all, I’m Ian Sampson.
