RIP John Wetton

Rock icon John Wetton passed away this morning (31st January) at the age of 67. He had been battling cancer.
John Kenneth Wetton (born 12 June 1949 - died 31 January 2017) was an English singer, bassist, and songwriter. He was born in Willington, Derbyshire, and grew up in Bournemouth. He rose to fame with bands Mogul Thrash, Family, King Crimson, UK, Asia, Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry, Uriah Heep, and Wishbone Ash.

I did have a listen to some popular Uriah Heep Asia and Wishbone ash yesterday
I will have played all of the tracks at concerts probably not the orig recording of any.

He was only 67 years old FFS

Today I have lined up to listen to bandstand by Family, Number the brave by Wishbone ash and King Crimson Larks tongues in aspic. All had Wetton on bass and sometimes vocals.
