Not as bad as it looks. Hard to explain but he had little chance but to brace.
From the replays it was always a red although in the speed of the game that’s instinctive rather than a cheap shot.
England got it together in the end, but neither side are going to set the RWC alight
They are going to have to improve spectacularly before the WC or ARG will mangle us.
Not pretty at all but they showed some spirit, the win was needed. Doesn’t bode well for the World Cup.

Well they’re not in our pool - but Samoa are 
Quietly pleased my instincts are still good, on a game I played for 25 years.
I thought it was harsh, and just looked bad on the replay.
We’re playing Fiji on Saturday week. I think. That’s what my ticket says, anyway…
