Not a good week for NZ.
The men’s team got absolutely mullered by the Boks last week and the Black Ferns are 24-7 down against Canada at half time in the WRWC semi final

Great win for Canada, The Black Ferns came back and played a lot better but Canada stood firm.
For a team of amateurs who had to crowd fund to get here it is an amazing result!

They blew NZ away first half and matched them second half. A very disciplined performance too.

Possession stats going to interesting, Feels like France have 70% at least
Both of these sides would need to raise their games to match Canada’s current form.
England should be pleased with that, they should be well behind but France have wasted their chances.

England strength in depth won the game.
And their defence. Even when England had no possession they kept the French out.
I think France had 7 red zone visits in the first half and only scored once

The French made some disastrous mistakes in the red zone. England made theirs too, tbh, although not as obviously at the French.
I can’t help but think that the scoreline flattered us.
