England coughed up the ball three times on the try line and then Earl got held up over the line.
Finishing and ball retention just not good enough.

Scotland played with aggression and skill and took their chances,
Englandās dominance in the scrum and the penalties it bought ought to have given them the edge, but the Scottish backs were excellent,

Also, the Scottish tries in the first half came from some really poor one on one defending. And then Ford has a real brainfart.
England lack leaders on the pitch. When things are not going your way, these are the players that set the tone.
My favourite part from both games today was seeing the Italian front row monster Ireland, so much so that Furlong was driven up into the air and onto his arse. Not many teams have ever done that when heās playing.

Oh dear, another one, this could be a very long afternoon and an empty stadium by half time.
If I was Welsh I would rather be down the pub than watch this,
Some redemption for Wales, they didnāt give up and got a consolation score.
But France were very classy and never under threat.
The only positive?
We arenāt playing South Africa.
