Losing anyone under any circumstances is hard, but when this happens the struggle to understand their decision is so difficult. My condolences to you. :heart:

So sorry for your loss Chris. Not sure if this will be of any comfort but Iā€™ve been strongly affected by this.
One of Claireā€™s workmates, a you man named Patrick decided to take his own life at the age of 26. I only met the guy three or four times but one of them was two days before he decided to hang himself.
He was an incredibly intelligent young man with wisdom way beyond his years. Brilliant mind, chose to go into a low paid care job trying to help the people at the lowest end of our society, Shite pay but wanted to help people even though he had a first class honours in Physics and could have walked into a number of vastly higher paid roles.
Iā€™ve still not got over it, canā€™t compute, and that was a young man I had only met a fistful of times.
For that to happen to one of your best mates, I canā€™t even imagine. Again so sorry for your loss.

Awful news, so sorry and my sincere condolences. Mental health issues are awful and still carry a stigma which can stop people getting the help they desperately need and just trying to muddle through with sometimes tragic consequences.
