Settle down now! Sep 5th - 7th '25

Apologies. Forgot about this. Just paid!

Should be great as always. Get it booked if you are dithering on it.

Sorted the payment, Dave. Looking forward to this.

Thanks to all who have paid.
The balance for the accommodation has now been settled, and I’m starting to think about food. Please let me know of any allergies / intolerances.

Still plenty of room if anyone else wants to come along.

You’ll love my cooked breakfasts then ..mind you I’m versatile can you eat eggs or are they a Nono ?

I’ve not met a vegetarian who doesn’t eat eggs yet, only vegans.

I can source meat alternatives

I don’t eat eggs - not because I am vegetarian but following biology lessons in the 3rd year of grammar school when we dissected fertilised eggs in various stages or development. I will eat eggs if they are amalgamated into things such as pasta or cake but I cannot eat an egg “as an egg”.

At different times in the past we’ve had beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and hash browns. I think there’s a toaster too.

I’m type 1 diabetic so I need a substantial carbs hit first thing in the morning to match the first insulin shots. I tend to pack my usual Weetabix and muesli to cope with this. You’d be welcome to some.

Once everyone else is awake Micky will lay out the ‘proper’ breakfast, but depending on the excesses of the night before this might be timed more for brunch TBH.

“Excesses” surely not

It helps* if you understand that they’re a chicken ‘period’ and not an embryo, since they’re not fertilised.

*ethically. Not so much if it’s just squeamishness.

It’s squeamishness really. And the idea of eating a “chicken period” doesn’t help.
