If only I could set the poxy thing up.
Only managed to get radio on it so far which sounds very good.
The focal naim app doesn’t have the model up as it’s a 2017 item,and wants me to set it up manually with an ip address,no idea where I get that from
Google find my IP there’s lots up there.

I think (think) it needs a firmware update, after which it should be seen. I’m going to ping @TMC who successfully updated the one I sold him. He’s bobbing around feeding plutocrats at the moment but I’m sure he’ll look in when he can.

The lovely old chap had a full naim setup with expensive looking Proacs,and a mint focus one/3009 combo.
Told him I use a valve amp,and he gave a wtf look. I told him my name was guy from puresound and promptly left.

Yeah, firmware update required for Tidal streaming. Needs a laptop that will connect via USB A from memory, can’t just stick a USB stick in the back. Download the upload onto the laptop and you run it from within Windows.

I use one of these. The Symetrica is better and on my list for “when funds allow” but in the meantime the Puritan is doing a good job.
Have a word with Paul at Z-Axis Audio, he may be able to lend you a Symmetric to try for a few days. I suspect you’ll be surprised with its effect.
