I went back and forth over the decision for a long time. I finally literally LOLed at the idea that living without a turntable would force me to speed up rewiring the Well Tempered

I was a bit apprehensive about the Jap factory tonearm vs the Well Tempered, but I’m really enjoying the Technics. The ease of swapping cartridges (a real ballache with the WellTempered) is tempting me to leave it as the main turntable and the Well Tempered for bedroom duty.

I always presumed the baffle was designed that way to avoid the use of stands. Of course that could vary a fair bit on the size of your room
After a lot of swearing,sweating and getting thoroughly fucked off I’ve moved the room around so they now fit.
