Shiny brand new second hand things in my system today V1.2

Your TacT would have driven those speakers wonderfully

Literally just bought another TacT about an hour ago.:+1:
Not a Millennium but similar vintage.

The Aavik is very similar to the Millennium - bit more transparent but less body.

I’m still very happy with my TacT/Lyngdorf TDAi2200!

I had the full fat version with room correction etc and it was a really nice amp.

The Millennium MK2 was a whole lot better, though digital inputs only. I kept it for 4 years which I think is a record for me.
If I could find a MK4 Millennium at a nice price I’d be on it like a shot.

I thought yours sounded great at the Maverick show Rob.

Took me a while to read “lampa”. My Russian O level is wearing out.

Giving this Belles Soloist 1 a try over the coming days.

It’s a work colleagues and he originally asked if I could help sell it on the forums as he isn’t very active. I could well do that but for now giving a try for myself even if it just becomes a summer amp.

Only plugged in so far to see if it works but will give it a longer listen tonight and the next few days.

I have one of those. It’s great with hard to drive speakers.

Thats what I guessed, will be interesting to see how they get on with the easy to drive LV OBXs

Tact S2150X now installed and playing very nicely.

From memory it sounds pretty much identical to the TDAI2200. Just a fraction restrained at the top but that suits the Gershmans very well.:+1:

Very nice!

The eBay seller has a load of Tact stuff for sale including another of these.
Mine was in original double box and is literally just like new, even the remote was spotless.

Yeah, I saw those, very good value if you don’t need the analogue inputs!

My TDAi2200 came from a dealer with the original triple box, best packaging I’ve seen for an amp!

This looks good as a preamp with room correction if people are not keen on the class-d.

I bought Merlin’s TacT stuff many years ago
Fully tricked out 2.2x and 2100 power amps
Sounded great until the 2.2x bricked itself

Bought a Pink Triangle Export with Helius Scorpio II arm and AT VM95e on eBay at the weekend. Looks to be in really nice condition overall. I’ve got it setup with my Shelter 5000 on the Scorpio arm and it’s all sounding really good. I have no idea of the going rate for an Export but for £600 outlay I’m more than happy. Hate bouncy decks though. Took me quite a few attempts to get the belt to stay on.
