I still have a Stage 2 Micromega CDP in a box in the loft; it’s a gorgeous sounding / looking thing. Happy to let you have it on a long term loan Dave @malbec .

Thanks. Very much appreciated.
I’m happy with the TEAC transport I’ve got. It’s the dac I really want. I might try one of the CA DACs that have the same chip. - they seem reasonable in price

I’ve got a Cambridge Audio Dacmagic 1 or 2 (same chip I think? :man_shrugging:) you can have (if I can find a suitable box to post it) for the price of the postage if of any interest? :+1:

Mojo 2 now doing dac duties in the office, being fed by WiiM Ultra. Pretty impressed with this pairing.

That’s a hefty output you’re running there- are you not close to clipping?

The only person on earth who understands the Chord UI

Don’t think so. The mojo is going into a DIY DHT preamp and then into SIT amp.

Sounds a good deal better all round than the Wiim internal DAC

They watched Close Encounters and went ‘yep’

Late to the Chord party…

They are great for electronic stuff. Really tight edges on the thump!

Ok I’ve just found this and get where you’re coming from but no its not clipping at that volume for me.

Wut, I had a QBD76 when they first came out.

Do you know what this stands for? I feel it’s even sillier than DAVE.

It is sillier. Quarter Back DAC :man_shrugging:

Nup, me neither.

Need to get one of those weird coax type things for my chord dac. One I bought doesn’t work, maybe it’s directional,or maybe it’s just cheap shit that doesn’t work.

The highest I had mine on was red

To be used as a transport but will be able to compare the oversampling DAC with my NOS DAC too. Very nicely built machine.

A fraction of the price of the transports I was looking at, with good reason, and I bought it to stop myself spending crazy money on one of those.
