Nice, how low are the BG Neos going in the multivell horns Andy?

I didn’t get a chance to measure actual FR but I was lightly running them down to 400hz -I will try to measure them later today.
I have just a single lounge kitchen diner shared space - Not ideal.
Update - Measurements are in. The Initial crossover freq for initial lisening is set to 600hz

Finally got round to installing the Sonido SFR200a drivers in the Acousta cabinets. Early days yet but very promising. The lowish Fs and low Qts (0.2) gives them half a chance of controlling the horn at low frequencies. Nicely built things with fairly substantial AlNiCo magnets.

Trying the Bottlehead 2a3 mono blocks I bought from Adam @AmDismal

They sound really lovely and seem to like driving the Gotos. They are more extended at the top than the Zen, but have better instrument separation and a bigger (wider) soundstage.

Judging from the plain woodwork and hand-painted black top plates, I think they must have been made from kits, but the electronics hidden away inside have been very well put together - very neat indeed

These are definite keepers

Wish I could build something like them.

Have reorganised the front room following central heating work, and have pulled the SL7 out of storage.

Will probably swap the speakers soon, but I’ve not had a working system for the past 10 days and the Dean Alto 2 are not dire.

I see you’ve had to add extra woofers .

Yes, the AT312e is a yapper rather than a growler. Doggos are are not quite balanced though.

I have just adopted a designed for Disco balanced and RCA ins and out It all seems to work ok - no channel balance issues and pots are quiet. Currently using it with Jim’s ES Lab power amp.

Preamp is called M Patch 2! - With added felt feet

Douk Q2 decoder also shown

I just recently bought a little Douk Audio xlr selector, and I’m really pleased with it. Nice build quality, seems to be transparent enough for my purposes.

Bought one of these 2nd hand off ebay, EVRI took so long to finally ‘deliver it’ and i use the term loosely (as i had to do most of the work) that they gave me the money back!

I have to say it’s an impressive little gadget, such a quiet background and very revealing, albums fly by :musical_notes:.
