After my cock up a few months ago when I bought an SME V and couldn’t get it to align on the Sony plinth, I traded it in for a V-12 and waited for my plinth to be built. Finally got it up and running today.
18kg of Acoustand loveliness - layers of mdf and delrin. 28kg in total.

What’s the full set up? Luxman? Speakers?
Sony TTS-8000, V-12, Kiseki Purpleheart NOS, Luxman step up and valve phono stage, Luxman L590AX, Monitor Golds in Lockwood cabs with external RFC crossovers.

I bet those speakers sound good. Paul C knows what he is doing.
The RFC crossovers were a revelation compared to the Tannoy crossovers which had been freshly recapped by Paul.
