I experienced this when I worked for Mordaunt Short. Because it was sold exclusively in the UK by Richer Sounds, many assumed it was just rebadged Chinese stuff, and were surprised to hear that my colleagues and I designed, voiced, fettled and finalised it all in London village.
Unfortunately they then got excited about TDL, whereupon I had to point out that, no, sorry, that was actually just rebadged Chinese stuff. It was a bit of a no-win situation really!
I was told the tattoo parlours were to be avoided. It’s not all bad though

Do you not have a small screwdriver, or something? 
Can be loosened & tightened enough with fingers.
The idea is to eliminate having to use a screwdriver
