It’s 6-7 for old men

The BBC have adjusted the camera angles overnight so the table no longer looks so square on the TV screen. Shame they didn’t get rid of that idiot Virgo while they were making improvements…..

Virgo and Doherty conspiring to spoil what is an interesting semi-final. Unbelievably awful.

There really should be a younger and enthusiastic main commentator and a former player to explain stuff. Two has-beens is too many.

Epic battle and a fantastic result.
Sets up an interesting final between an old stager (with dubious history) and the younger up-and-comer (not pretender).

Don’t think I can take another seven frames of this.

Yep, absolutely dire !

It has picked up a bit

I take it back

Disappointed that the old bloke didn’t make a match of it, but Wilson has been the player of the tournament.
A worthy winner, regardless of the quality of the final.

Yeah, wasn’t a classic final by any means, Higgins just didn’t really turn up.

I thought he might announce his retirement if he won.

I thought that was turgid and by the end I didn’t care who won. I just wanted it over.

Nobody forced you to watch it

Well the commentary should now improve.
