I like Sonos but they still have a weird (antiquated) approach to hi-res file formats. I’m utterly cynical about the SQ benefits of >16/44 but there’s a lot of hi-res material available now and a lot of nerds willing to buy it so it seems strange that Sonos will only support by downsampling.
I agree, but TBH the UI and the reliability tip the balance for me.
I know, I might as well well have just set fire to my Faff Club membership card.
