Had a trip to Steve’s last night for a listen.
I can concur with Mark it is an absolute beauty in the flesh, and so well made it is perfectly finished a real tribute to the work Technics have done to make a flagship model.
And it sounds excellent even though the ML still only has a few hours on it I still enjoyed everything we played and we had every kind of music from Prog to Jazz and it did it all with ease a real all round excellent Turntable.
We played a few Analogue Production LP’s and they were sublime the Techy really made the most of these great pressings.
Steve has built up an excellent system based around the W8’s, paradise and now The SL1000r.
I loved it.
As a few others have said it made me think it was good value for money. Looking forward to hearing it again when ML has a few more hours on it.
