The all-new shiny cockpunch thread (Part 1)

From that article

“Most cases assessed by the inquiry are thought to be too old to prosecute under French law.”

Lets hope they prosecute as many as possible.
If the Catholic Church had any decency if prosecutions aren’t possible then they should be making reparations to the victims.
Sell off all that ill gotten gold and art.

Get fucked, there’s no forgiveness or redemption for child abuse.

Cunts

His thoughts also turn to the Church in France, and that, in recognising these terrible events and united by the suffering of the Lord for his most vulnerable children, it can take the path of redemption

Shame we’re not remembering that “it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea”. As someone once said.

The Holy Roman Catholic Church needs to re-brand and be more relevant to modern society.

They should henceforth be known as the Church Of The Latter Day Paedophile

Fuck sake, eBay global shipping has only managed to get my parcel half way across the US in the last 3 weeks…

Is it heading in the right direction though ?

Technically, on a globe, it’ll get to him eventually…

Hmmm don’t be so sure, it’s Fedex.

He really is a brain dead fucknugget…

Dominic Raab has dismissed demands to make misogyny a hate crime in an interview where he claimed it was wrong “whether it is a man against a woman or a woman against a man”.

In a disastrous BBC Breakfast interview from the Tory party conference, Mr Raab had to be told the definition of misogyny by presenter Sally Nugent.

Not personal but work related - DHL managed to ship a parcel from the USA, it took 7 days for it to travel 1800 miles back to where it started from…
However, we also ordered the same thing from the European depot to edge our bets…the item from the USA still got here first…

Are you becoming a Cockney?

The US’s distribution mechanisms are seriously fucked at the moment not to mention ports on East & West coasts being totally logjammed with container ships floating offshore waiting to get their unloading slots.

They probably haven’t got any HGV drivers, they should get the National Guard to do it.
I am sure the Teamsters wouldn’t mind!

Often cited but Apple could benefit from a swift, single strike to the orbs for today’s bellendery;

Behold- the latest M1 powered iPad Pro and the ‘magic’ keyboard (and Jim);

It’s bloody lovely to type on- 95% as good as my ThinkPad (who I’ve long felt have excellent keyboards. It’s an order of magnitude better than the older speccy style keyboard on the folio cover. There’s a ‘but’ coming though, there always is.

Unlike the Folio cover, this doesn’t fold back. That’s the extent of how far it opens so you can’t really use the thing in portrait or indeed stand up and hold it any more elegantly than you’d stand holding an open laptop. It’s also about 0.75mm thicker all up so my existing HDMI and USB adapter doesn’t clamp to it like it did with my last Pro. Of course, my old folio cover still works just fine. I could easily migrate it to being used around the house on this new iPad.

Except…

While the new Pro is almost identical to the 2018 one, the camera array has changed so it wont poke through and fit flush. The otherwise identical new one with the correct hole is £180. At this point I haven’t ruled out a stanley knife.

Its a nasty by-product of Apple wanting everything ‘just so’. When something changes, that ‘just-so’ thing is no longer ‘just-so’, unlike the less just-so windows/android stuff which has more wiggle room but generally isn’t as nice. You know the new folio cover will be lovely and fit ‘just-so’ but the prices are piss takes.

No it’s not, it’s a result of cynical/ruthlessly-efficient product planning intended to force you to buy a new Everything from them.

As opposed to everyone else providing products that don’t fail before time or stop getting supported and are badly finished? I’d rather have to buy a new case for a new device that will last 5+ years than save the case money but lose security update support after 2 years
