The all-new shiny cockpunch thread (Part 1)

Part of the ongoing redevelopment. It’s been going on for years. Route planning might make your life easier, but I doubt it.

Developers have been using any way they can (often claiming unaffordability) to wriggle out of their duty to provide some affordable housing in new developments of more than 10 units.
Here’s one report

and an older one from near me

I hope an Angry of Funzie letter of complaint is winging it’s way to the clueless fuds as we speak. :grinning:

Indeed they have. I live in the “I know, let’s build another 3000 houses. Again.” capital of the Thames valley (maybe 15,000 between 2017 and 2031). Are any of them affordable ? Precious few.

I’m sure you’re inundated with all the new infrastructure and amenities that S106 funding is paying for too.

Scottsdale Golf

Ordered a set of irons from them 6 weeks ago and after chasing the order as it’s now very late get a response that “we only have the 4 & 6 irons and we can send you these but the rest won’t be available until Jan 22 at the earliest”

Asked to cancel the order and refund me but get told that “this is a custom fit order to Callaway so are unable to cancel the order”

I sense a big argument over distance selling regs coming along and then a phonecall to my credit card company.

Cunts

bugger, looks like custom or personalised orders are exempt from the consumer contract regulations :frowning:

I’ll have to settle for a stinking trustpilot review then.

they are exempt from the ‘ive changed my mind’ bit since it’ll be hard to sell (for example) monogrammed shirts to someone else, but if you ordered from them with a delivery date and they can’t meet it you should have a case via the CC company.

6 posts were merged into an existing topic: Golf (aka, how to dress like a nonce)

Warmworks can have a cockpunch for the corporate bollocks they have plastered on their vans. Get to fuck.

Our lot has “Respecting each other and taking personal responsibility”

I’m not sure if they wondered if anyone might find that disingenuous…

Share the love. What is the name of this paragon of virtue?

All investment banks have

Put the customer first (added post-2009)
Innovate
Do the right thing
(mutter mutter) give back to society etc.

Can’t remember the last one, probably something about integrity or respect.

They’re all the same, almost word-for-word.

Big ol’ plastic decals in the entrance lobby.

You literally get tested about it; the contemporary equivalent of standing by your bed and singing the company song.

WTF? Just give them the cheap shit dinner for nothing.

Or just fuck them up for the rest of the their lives.
Twelvety years later… You look like someone who did something so you’re nicked

Fingerprints are used already in some places I have worked in.

Yeah but fingerprints are covered under GDPR regs, facial recognition tech isn’t.
Schools have loads of rules to follow regarding photography of children but some unregulated external catering company can use facial recognition to collect payment for its crappy meals.

CUNTS!

I have to say I haven’t looked into this at all. But it does sound like it’s laughably unnecessary. It’s so utterly ridiculous that there has to be an ulterior motive. It’s hard to think of anything other than ‘Get them used to being spied on while they’re still young enough not to worry about it’.
