Helicopters, bad day in the office is bad

Had this one explained to me by a navy pilot, not so much missed the deck as got the thrust wrong as it came over the deck, rear wheel then caught the safety net and the rest you can see.

Poor cunts. Can’t imagine they all survived that.

We’ve just had our own fly past , taken from our driveway with a phone :sunglasses: (the pilot used to live in our village and was on his way back from Southport air show)

7 died but a few including the pilots were recovered. They were fully laden marines who were supposed to disembark onto the deck while the Heli hovered.
