My MiL is in hospital recuperating from a major operation. Things have been pretty manic as we have been juggling work with my Claire going up to visit her mum twice a day. A few times over the last couple weeks I have dropped her at the hospital and drove round to a nearby charger to top up. Tonight I arrived to this and it was a proper pita to get charged elsewhere as limited number of nearby chargers were full. Why would someone do this? Is it for scrap or just some anti EV morons?

Need to be a twat with some serious cutters to get through that. I hope it’s not some moron who thinks all EV chargers belong to Musk.
Copper is valuable. Powerful charger cable theft is a thing.
Indeed, the charging cables are supplied with our works ev vans are nowhere near as thick as those, but probably a bit longer and they cost £500 to replace.
Went for a ride in @Bullinachinashop’s iD7 last night. While, I maintain that the massage seats are borderline alarming, it was a nice thing to waft around in.
