Nothing to see here
If you don’t like these principles I have others…
Musk has previously said: “I was legally there, but I was meant to be doing student work. I was allowed to do work sort of supporting whatever"
Hey, ‘sort of supporting whatever’ is what I do - get your own gig, Musk…
Sort of supporting whatever: finely honed legalese above my woolly little head.
I saw a couple of them in Washington and they are spectacularly shit.
Everyone I saw taking photos of them were laughing at the time ![]()
Remember too big to fail in 2000s. 2020s is too rich to jail. No chance any of these billionaires will ever experience any real consequences of their actions.
It’s a small thing on its own, but I see that the C20 Society are now on Bluesky.
Charities and the public sector in particular must be facing genuine reputational damage if they’re seen to continue supporting or enabling Musk.
In part - but apparently Bluesky has taken off in the last few months - hearing a lot about people starting to move now.
You could ask whether the BBC, given impartiality requirements, should still be using it.
Absolutely agree.
I’ve been on it a while, and at the start it was still very much at the MVP stage, but it keeps improving. Significantly it seems to be improving in the right ways - it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into letting people create a space they want to be in, and it’s very straightforward to keep the cunts at bay.
Yeah. I guess with all these things, a network effect takes time to build, but once it does, things snowball quickly. I’m not on there, but was thinking of signing up the other day.
The crucial thing is that because the blocking works really well, the Nazis trying to spread out from Twitter just aren’t getting the traction and engagement they want, so they’re tending not to hang around.
And what’s great is it’s nothing to do with Bluesky as an org (unlike Musk fucking with Twitter), it’s the userbase showing them the door.

National parks to be sold off to the highest bidder?
The Guardian has withdrawn from Twitter (or will soon).
The FT needs to do so as well.
