The shit that doesn't merit its own thread (the resurrection)

I had some pickled onion monster munch on Saturday - let me warn you, you do not want to eat them when you have a massive mouth ulcer…

The last time I had crisps it was in the 50’s and they were called Smiths and were plain with a little blue bag with salt.

Meh! Salt and vinegar combined should only be on fish 'n chips. :unamused:

Smith’s are the best :+1:

Luxury. We got battered senseless by a sadistic Carmelite priest until we could integrate, differentiate and do all sorts of trig without any assistance, mechanical or otherwise, all while avoiding being last in the showers after rugby. Those were the days…:worried:

Carmelites were bastards. When I was in school in Ireland we had the Holy Ghost Fathers. Most were decent; lots were vicious fuckers. My dad had the Jesuits - he never talked about it!

My father was educated/assaulted by the Christian Brothers (oxymoron alert) in Cork. They put the rest into the shade for violence and ignorance. Thankfully my experiences weren’t too bad and were nothing a lifetime of atheism won’t cure.

Well then, I got that wrong about my dad - he was tortured by the Holy Ghost Fathers as well (Rockwell)

This is what happens when bees come to tea.

A couple of my mates were sentenced to summer camp there in the 1980’s. They still complain about it today! Like Colditz but without the views or charming guards…

Dad would have been there in the 40s. No colour then, just black and white, dark and light

Don’t forget the rations and the sodomy…

Well I never…

I might start up an old computer equipment thread…before I die of boredom…

Mod creates boring new thread from boring shit about old computers contained in the boring ‘The shit that doesn’t merit its own’ thread. Irony in action. Is this a health and safety thing then?
