You’re lucky. Our compromise is 21.5. :frowning:

Bloody hell, ours is on 22 and I still get whinging  It’s not on yet though :grimacing:

I was pissed off, the right flip flop gave way on my way to enjoy the steam room and Jacuzzi

Thermostat is currently locked at a max of 22c it unlocks in October when it will go up to 24c max downstairs and 16c upstairs.

I like the sound of 16 upstairs

24c?

That’s a fucking sauna. Can’t be good for you, surely.

That’s the max temp, because it’s one of those class A new builds the thermostat is locked so the max you can choose is 24c.

I haven’t had the heating on since Feb and over the summer the temp didn’t drop below 24c until around 11’ish.

The house temp at the moment is 22.5c although the thermostat is locked at a max of 22c but set to 18c

I see.

I’m not sure I could live in a house even at 22c.

20c is about as much as I can bear in a room long term, but much prefer 16-18c, bedrooms cooler though.

That can’t even fucking work surely? Must be another source of sound?

Why don’t you throw your TT in the bath and report back

Why not? Sounds fucking awful mind. Speed all over the show.

I can barely lift it let alone throw it

An old DJ trick was to spray water on a record to minimise the surface noise.

The cartridge would short out I’d have thought?

Sea water is pretty conductive, but ā€˜fresh’ water isn’t too bad. It’s a good deal more conductive than, say, dry human skin but an MC cartridge might well not be shorted too badly under water.
