I liked it in white , kinda funky if you’re not an audiophile

Looks like someone knocked over a jar of yellow road marking paint and they decided they might as well do the whole thing.

This one is alright (but that’s coming from someone with an AF3 in similar colour).

Needs to have reflective stripes to be proper hi viz. I suppose could be after the cloak of invisibility, as in “I dunno, just some bloke in hi viz.”

Is this designed from the ground up or a refurbed 301?

Thought the pricing was in error, apparently not. Hope they haven’t ordered too many different colours for stock

Made by SME innit.

The whole thing?

Wow there is a high degree of “never give a sucker an even break” there.
The original sold at a profit for around £20 and the 401 was a bit better engineered (I was at Garrard while it was in construction) but looks less retro cool.
I always quite fancied a rebuilt one with hammertone paint and no external strobe but really, has the HiFi market really descended to this? And £20k more for a different plinth sweet Jesus!

At a guess this aimed squarely at the zanier end of the Far Eastern market, who love retro Brit gear.
