Corrected I stand.

Wonder if one supplies the other, or just copied.

The artisan platter and bearing is different. Ray may supply the chassis? I wonder with SME now owning the brand if it may become difficult to call the unit a ā€œgarrardā€ ?

Very one would imagine, it would look better without the name on though

Ā£70k according to Hifi+

Iā€™m still intrigued to learn what the top secret, ā€˜patent applied forā€™ technology is. All the journos who were told about it had to sign an NDA so I guess weā€™ll have to wait.

At Ā£70k I am prepared to wait for a very, very long time. I need the fuglies/Ā£ to be a little more sensible :unamused:

Looks like one of those Polycom conferencing phones.

Iā€™d be tempted to stand by it and go

ā€œHELLO? WHO JUST JOINED?ā€

etc.

Iā€™m assuming the statement in question is ā€œwe know how to royally screw up a classically elegant turntableā€.
