The Wonderful World of Turntable Design AKA: Dave's Fugly World Of TT Wank

I am going to make my own isolation platform so wish me all the best. (I would really like a Herzan)

Only if you have something 16 - 32 Kg heavy, they are up to 8Kg each. My sub is 45Kg and the valve phono stage 4.5Kg

Less stupid pricing than normal.

A spring version does 2- 4kg - set of 4 support 8-16kg-

B SPRING VERSION 4- 8kg per pod max 3 or 4 will do from 12kg to 32kg

C Spring version supports 8-16kg per spring so 3 or 4 will support 24-64kg

They have all three types

In the strange audiophile world where springs covered in heat shrink and selling for £300 is a bargain…

Don’t forget they have a hole pricked in them to ‘tune’ the Q

NB : Conceptually I have no problem with the Townshend Pods

A lot of Townshend’s kit has been quite sensible, it just suffers from being a fairly small turnover outfit that has to spend a lot (relatively) on shows and marketing. It’s the nature of the industry.

I like these Guy but they are really expensive.
The smaller version are a lot cheaper and I might make a platform with them. See details Newport Corporation.

They are made for laboratories etc. That need 6 way isolation.

Why don’t you just order a Hush platform from Bob? Everyone seems to rate them :+1:
