We were lucky to avoid most of that. A couple of minor hold ups, one at the toll bridge crossing the Seine just below Le Havre. Fortunately they were then waving everyone through for nothing. Others attempting to get to Charles de Gaulle missed their flights out because of the chaos caused by the Gilets Jaunes,

I missed whatever happened, but I trust that you went truly full potato.

Some sort of half-baked flounce simply won’t do.

Mostly this, although efforts to trap more water on the moors above, with lots of mini-dams, may be slowing transfer down to the reservoir.
