It’s not really fair to compare an enthusiastic amateur such as myself with an elite athlete.
Yesterday was my first decent walk since spraining an ankle 5 weeks ago. Led an 8 mile circuit with friends up on the eastern edges above Ladybower reservoir. I was slow, but got round without problem. Much better weather than the previous few days, thankfully.
