I could once drive 8 hrs for a pizza and a coffee, then drive back again.
Those days are long gone.
I now have a couple of rules when planning journeys;
Maximum of 2.5 hours in UK
Max of 4 hours in Yerp.
I just stop enjoying it beyond that, and it takes me longer to recover.
Meh.

Making Limoncello.
The zest of 5 lemons and 1L of duty free vodka.
Now sits in a large jar for a week & stirred occasionally.
Next week sugar & water will be added.
FoL2 has been making this & it tastes really good. For some reason I assumed it would be more involved.

In there last Sept while it was still recovering post pandemic. Even then it was decent.
Was also in there in May this year. Friendly chap behind the counter. Loved Canterbury and want to revisit.

Had 11 technical/1st-4th stage interviews this week, and passed 10. Just had a 4th for somewhere at 5pm and they mentioned HR would be in touch so I guess that’s a job offer!

Went to see Newton Faulkner last night at Northampton’s Roadmender. I’ve not really followed his career beyond the first album Hand Built By Robots. Turned out to be an excellent evening with a crowd that seemed to know every word of every song.
