Never heard of a Drumming Snipe. A nice but unusual looking bird.

The bird is a Common Snipe

Mouthful of insects for the brood?

Would love to see a Hobby. Not likely up in the North East though.
Myth is, it is the only bird that can outfly a Swift.
PMac will put me right on that😁

Amazing pic. Body shape and wings!

Reed

More of a record shot as it was far-off.
Could hardly keep the lens on it, it was so fast.

Treecreeper?

yep, nice shot - Treecreepers often fly down to the bottom of a tree then climb up.
Nuthatches generally climb down

Joined the local Nature Reserve . And I think I managed to get a shot of a Chiffchaff after hearing them non-stop for months

My 2 year old grandson is trying to grow a wood pigeon, so far not a squab in sight after 2 months care and attention. Any advice.

That grey critter at top left is probably putting them off. Maybe move it where they can’t see it ?

A talk about the birds and the bees.

Not brilliant images but stopped at Cromer last night and spent an hour watching 3 or 4 peregrines
