Cheers - Currently I am mostly using single focus and shutter modes. In terms of snappy focusing I think it’s definitely a little better than my Canon 5dMk3 and 400mm f5.6 was.
I’m not sure if the internet BIF focus expectation now includes birds the size of blackbirds ?
I really haven’t had much chance for BIF yet I do plan to visit the hide on the lake quite soon - I will let you know what I think.
