I had these babies on loan from Dave and they were very good indeed… unfortunately, at around 50kgs each, it took months for the skin on my shins to heal back when delivering them back to him…

Frank I have an Ayre V3 MkII I’m not using. Not sure how suitable it is for a passive pre. Here is the spec:
MOSFET power amplifier. Class A/AB
Power output: 100Wpc into 8 ohms (20dBW), 200Wpc into 4 ohms (20dBW).
Voltage gain: 32dB.
Input impedance: 10k ohms.
