Weird Food Combinations that Work...maybe. (We've moved on from Hot Cross Buns)

It’s plausible. Scones, unlike hot cross buns, aren’t inherently sweet. Haggis scones would only be awful if you were to add raisins/sultanas, glaze the whole lot in some kind of syrup and then maybe put jam on it. Since they’re from north of the border though I am surprised they haven’t been deep fried.

More than plausible, traditional plain scones pre date fruit versions.

God I miss Crombies. Their slab pie was not of this Earth.

Fuck. Look what I just found after googling Crombies pies for old times sake…

Proof positive that there is a God… and he knows his pastry.

Do. Want.

I can’t stop looking at it.

That, a bottle of a good IPA and a bottle of HP. The holy trinity.

That crust ffs…

Minimum weight 3lb (good).
Currently sold out (not so good).

Darn it.

I commend this to you for brown sauce duties:

Duly noted.

Yup, that’s good sauce. As is their ketchup.

Aye, Wilkins Brown Sauce is good stuff. As is this one as well -

Society is in decline precisely because people keep making the unacceptable acceptable.
Fuck you people.

This thread is in urgent need of moderation to preserve the sanctity of the HCB from the marmite smearing, brown sauce spreading, bacon dealing perverts.

Shocking really…

I remain abused by unsalted butter - This thread needs a smiting

Quite. I noticed my favourite local pizza restaurant was offering ham and pineapple (aka Hawaiian) pizza as a special. I nearly walked out in disgust!
