Some great choices. If you’re in Edinburgh you should check out umbrella vinyl. One of the best used stores for jazzy persuasions
Never been in there, but spent quite a bit of time in Vinyl Villains back in the day. Is it still around?
Was quite surprised to see a new batch of Blue Notes from analogue tapes. They released quite a few twenty-odd years ago, and I’ve found them pretty good. I assumed it was all digital now, so am looking forward to hearing these ones.
The last few years have been a golden age of high quality, all analog jazz reissues.
Blue Note have two all analog reissue series that have been going for a few years. The Tone Poet series are more expensive. They are pressed at RTI whereas the Classic Vinyl series are pressed at Optimal. Both series are remastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearant.
Verve/Impulse have the Acoustic Sounds Series which is of similar quality and price as the Tone Poets. They tend to be mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound and pressed at Quality Record Pressings.
All of these series have been going for several years so lots to choose from. Most remain in print. Back catalogues can be found on Discogs:

Forthcoming 2026 releases here:
As hermit says, there are tons of pure AAA copies of classic jazz albums from Craft, analogue productions, blue note and a few other independent and small labels. There’s more of it than ever now
Swapped a vinyl first pressing of that with Duvet for some Auralex Gramma pads many years ago!
