Don’t generally buy South African wine but this is very good indeed.
Good SA Chenin Blanc is a beautiful thing. The better Pinotages, likewise.
However, on the whole, SA wine available outside it’s borders is a bit Meh!
I definitely find the reds very ordinary. Always give me a hangover as well.
I do like SA Chenin Blanc though and even fairly cheap bottles at £5-10 are usually pretty drinkable.
Supply and quality was better 20 years ago.
Several ANZAC Pale Ales.
Hoegaarden now, Leffe Brune next.
