Imagine listening back to the master tapes of all those amazing Stax records on that it must have been extraordinary.
Did they play stuff through them when you visited? Or was it like lift Muzak through ceiling speeks?
Sadly not through them but there was a dance floor where you could strut your stuff - Soul Train stylee to the classics it was a laugh actually.
Then you walked through into a long corridor with every 7" and album Stax released - as near to a religious experience as I’m ever likely to get.
