I am looking for a headshell to mount on a FR64s.
Cart will be an Io Gold weighing in at 20g (I already have a larger than normal counterweight)
What would you recommend and what have you got?
Orsonic, Graphite (Schick) or Arche in reverse order of cost and sound.

Out of the ones I own, my favourites are the Orsonic and the Audio Silente Graphite.

I use an Orsonic AV-101b with an IO1 or IO2 on the FR-64S

Indeed it is, I am not fixated on anything just in the ‘discovery phase’
All options are being explored.
Unlike most threads of this kind, I haven’t actually bought anything nor made a decision on what to buy, I appreciate this is a difficult concept for most posters on here to grasp

The Arche, is a lovely piece of engineering that is by far the most adjustable headshell of he noted options above. It’s also the most expensive

N.B: if looking for second hand…The newer Arche’s are better than the old ones (the one in the film is an old one) The first ones plating was poor, and the overhang slightly greater, fucking annoying I had to get another one - See the difference below
