What I'm watching (Part 1)

Good Omens.

Good fun, you can’t really lose with David Tennant and Michael Sheen in full camping it up mode.

Gonna give this a try in a few minutes

It was ok. From memory I thought the 1989 film Scandal did it better (so far anyway)

It’s early days, so I’ll reserve judgement. Scandal was fairly good IMO, nothing better than that though.

We’ll have to see how the new one develops.

New Star Wars.
I’m happy. Fluff, but it did what fans wanted and it was good value in 3D atmos.

If you like trains then the Fort William to Mallaig ‘Jacobite’ is on Ch5 right now, minute-by-minute, pulled by a steam loco of course. A beautiful train travelling through gorgeous scenery. Hardly any talking. If you’re quick then Ch5+1 will let you catch it from the start.

will let you experience BR timekeeping…

What’s 6 minutes between friends  ?

When you’ve got a 9-minute connection at Reading, quite a lot actually.

Johnny Marr, playing guitar

Just checking TV options on The BBC
On BBC1 we have The Sound Of Music and on BBC2 we have the Magnificent Seven.

The BBC have finally made good on holiday viewing.
To completely fulfil their charter I expect The Great Escape to be on later
