Our Planet ( forests) they’ve just shown loads of caterpillars much to my amusement. ( Mrs P has a phobia about them , her heart rate went up to 108 according to her watch!)

quite enjoyed this, the two characters in the film come from my home town of Redditch, trust me that place cold turn anyone in to a killer, especially if someone tried to drag me on a caravan holiday…
Sold.
Anyone seen this? Advert came up for it on the High Rise DVD I watched last night. Looks interesting, plus Scarlett Johansson
It’s very good but the book is superb. There are some great scenes in the film tho’.
The Outlaw Josey Wales. A long time since I watched this. Surprisingly brutal towards women and unusual in that it seems to have been quite early for a Western to be putting a native American point of view including some dialogue in Navaho. A good watch although very different in tone and look to the Sergio Leone westerns Clint had starred in a little earlier.
The Long Good Friday. Very stitled direction and some ham acting. My memory of it is that it was very good. Bit disappointed to be honest although Miss Mirren was some compensation.
Watched it the other night. It was alright, but not something I’d watch again. Very predictable, imho.
6/10
Nice concept, well shot with decent sfx and cast for a small budget film but meh overall.
@Valvebloke introduced this to me, its superb!
As is High Rise, I really enjoyed that as well!
I bought Donna ‘Last Christmas’ so we watched it last night.
Much better than I expected for a chick flick kinda thing and it made me cry
I thought High Rise captured the bleak feel of the book very well. No-one does dystopia quite like JGB.
Just finished it, it was okay, nice idea, predictable, preachy, would you Adam and Eve it?

We just watched it, lovely.
Just watched Hidden Figures- brilliant film based on true stories
