Been surprised by this one, its superb. The script, the acting, even the music is top drawer.
Benedict Cumberbatch knocks it out of the park and the other leads arenât what you would call shabby.

Civil War really enjoyed that. Forget the US civil war element, i think that was used as the backdrop because it plays into the zeitgeist. The actual narrative is around the corruption of innocence by the evil of war itself. In this case a young amateur photo journalist whoes childhood years are ended abruptly as she documents the fighting, culminating in that final set peice shot.

Ainât that true, advertise one film when youâve made something else. I suppose the producers wanted a blockbuster, so thatâs what they promoted. Strange.
