Ive not got a clue what @Mrs_Maureen_OPinion and @spacehopper have been smoking tonight but I want some of it.
The leader of the Oath Breakers was released this week, which may have come as a surprise to the makers of this film. Not without its faults but a scary account of a deranged seditionist.
Available on Sky Documentaries
started watching that the other day but it was a bit disjointed and got bored.
might try it again when I can concentrate on it more
Just started the 2nd episode and a big fat royal WTF
The WTF will continue It’s what makes it awesome.
Enjoyed it, definite sense that they had watched Fargo a lot, and wanted to so something funny, dark and a little odd.
Nosferatu seen in a cinema with a decent screen and sound.
Generally I enjoyed it, a proper old school horror film with good turns from Lily-Rose Depp (Johnny’s daughter) and Willem Dafoe. It takes a while to get going and, as with the 1922 original, it takes much inspiration from Bram Stoker’s story.
Worth a look though.
Thanks for sharing this, some reviews had put me off.
Watched that last week with Old Ma Waxy. I found it a bit slow in places and we both agreed that while we enjoyed it, we probably wouldn’t bother watching it again. The effects/make-up were very good. I was not convinced by either of the choices for the lead roles (Hoult and Depp). There was something a bit cringing about their performances.
Overall 5 out of 10.
Hoult was just being Hoult but I thought Depp’s character showed some intensity when called for.
Hope so, that tits and ass tv series she was in was dire.
