The thing about GoT is that you have to binge it. I remember when it first came out, you’d forget who half the characters were each new season! But binge and it’s one of the great TV things ever.
I have a history of not watching these things until well after they are done and dusted.
e.g. The Sopranos, Breaking Bad
As I don’t do soshulmeeja (aside from AA), spoilers are not a thing for me. Besides, my memory is terrible.
Strong recommend from me too.
The Bear, season 5. As perfect a series as I’ve ever seen. Just turning it over and over in my mind.
We have stayed away so far because season 4 was extraordinary and just seemed like closure, but clearly we need to give 5 a go

The Bear - Watched the last of Season 5 last night. Such was the depth of the characters and quality writing I actually felt a pang of loss at it’s ending.

The rugby is buried on ITV4.
The Tour de France is now on TNT and Channel five for highlights.
Not happy.
S4C are showing live stages of the Tour - gives us a chance to learn Welsh

A nationally available free to view channel, better than being on Sky or TNT
The earlier games were on ITV1. The rugby is never going to compete with the World Cup.
The Tour is of minority interest in the UK.

After being bombarded with clips of it on social media I’m watching Mr Inbetween.
A weird slice of life in suburban Australia interspersed with ultra violence as the subject is a bouncer / hitman.
Massively enjoyable, funny and horrifying in equal measures. Short episodes and low production values but the main character is fantastic. How the actor isn’t in anything else is mind boggling and if IMDb is correct he write and produces it too.
It’s on Disney+ and worth the watch.

I tried watching the first series but gave up after about 1 episode. Will have to try again.
Certainly get three in before writing it off.

Full of surprises. A very different type of film to the usual weekend fare.
I advise strongly to watch it without any research or spoilers.
