One of my desert island bands.
I was at the Gig that the Entreat live LP was recorded at (last night of the European Disintegration tour at Wembley). I’m happy to report I recorded it and probably have the FLACs on my NAS if anybody wants them. I’ve been going to Cure gigs since 1981. They rarely disappoint.
One of mine too, now, Mark.
2 years ago, nah, a year ago, maybe. Now, an unconditional yes, and this Album has a lot to do with that.
Very well curated (get me with my 2018 patois), well played, well recorded and all of the best early tracks.
I love ‘live’ Albums and their nuances, even well done patchwork ones, and this one, for me, really highlights all that is right about The Cure.
Sermon ends.
As an angry young jitter (heavy metal fan), I rejected this album out of hand. It seemed so lightweight compared to the previous couple of releases. It has grown on me, but is still my least favourite of the Maiden 1980s output.
Boom!
