Yes. They may have intended to put transformers in it but I doubt they’d have got them quiet enough.
OK, I guess that would be the explanation as to why some of the images show Inputs labelled Phono mm/mc then ?
Yes. It may have been the original intention to do it with transformers but it never happened.
