I did and I had more fun sanding of my winkle with a black and decker drill. And all the pedalists I met were arses…
There seem to be some very pleasant UK cyclists on this forum - I’m sure they could show you a good time 
It’s a lot more fun without the drill between your legs though.
Why would you use a drill to sand anything?

Don’t get me wrong, I quite enjoy pushbiking, but mainly in the New Forest, between pubs and without any Lycra.
I just don’t expect hordes of them to get in my way when I’m trying to collect bloody great speakers I don’t need.
