Yet another thread for the purposes of awarding a cockpunch

The ones I’m buying came from the Wam but it’s probably the same chap;there can’t be too many pairs for sale at the same time!

I also have enough stuff but clearly lack your iron discipline…,

Iron discipline :rofl::rofl::rofl:

That is why I have about 120 bits of kit.

Julie London?

No idea Dave

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the slapping bloke in this story needs his face banging quite hard into the tarmac ?

I accept that that wouldn’t be a grown-up response to what he did. Somehow it would be a bloody satisfying one though.

An eye for an eye. You reap what you sow.

My employer can have one. They finally announced that my job is being TUPE’d.

Think I’ll go home now then. :+1:

Edit: The best parts:

  1. The scope of the outsourcing was delivered by a pre-recorded video message (CIO is on holiday).
  2. Individuals then had to wait an hour for an email

Truly the personal touch…

Cunts. I hope this all works out Gareth…

Hope it works out for you, although right now I’d suggest that it’s probably beer o’clock.

The bloke who stole £30k from our school PTA has just been in court, and has been given community service for stealing from both his employer and the local supermarket. What a cunt.

It’s particularly nice how his employer spoke up for him in court, saying that he had been working diligently for them and was a solid and reliable employee. He rewards them by stealing from them!

my wife uncovered a fraud a couple of years back, somewhat bigger@ £85k but from a charity, however if you are up to no good the LAST person you need on your tail is Mrs Maverick she has a real nose for it (ex banking lending controls manager - from before the casino bankers took over and broke everything around lending).

However in this case the root cause was putting easy temptation in someone’s way and single sign on internet banking breaks all the basic controls that we were both brought up to use (I am an accountant by training), so he could create fraudulent invoices and jst pay them with no oversight

This was a problem for ours as well

not a shock really is it?
if my wife had been a trustee it wouldn’t have happened, she did warn them of the risks

When she spotted it she asked my advice as I have worked in the anti-scam community for some years (I’ll say no more here) and I immediately spotted two things more, but it was her nose for wrong doing that caught this bugger, at least (for once) he went to jail.
His defence that it was only used for food and clothing for his kids did not sit well vs. the FB postings of very nice family holidays abroad to nice locations, paid for from fundraising and (mainly) legacies.

Is he repaying the money?

Wow that is so upsetting , any chance of getting 30k back?

We got most of it back from insurance and the bank (who seriously failed to spot anything when it was bloody obvious). We won’t get the balance back from him, he has fuck all
